Tree Removal
Tree removals are performed to eliminate dead and dying trees as well as those that have become a safety concern. Tree removal is the most hazardous aspect of arboriculture due to confined spaces, structures, and powerlines which is why it should only be performed by skilled arborists.
Removals are necessary because a dead tree will slowly lose strength. As the tree weakens, it loses its ability to withstand wind or weight from ice or snow which causes break off of branches or failure of the entire tree.
We are proud to be equipped with a competent team of arborists and the proper equipment to take on the most difficult of removals.
Emergency service is available.
Does Your Tree Need to be Removed?
When considering removing a tree, here are four simple examinations you can do:
Assess the tree location. Is the tree close to your home, garage, shed, or power lines? Is the tree blocking the sun from reaching your roof?
Examine the branches of the tree. Are there any hanging or dead branches that could fall during severe wind or ice storms? Pruning or cabling could also be an option in these situations.
Check for defects. Certain defects or damage to the tree can increase the chances of it falling down or dying.
Examine the trees leaves, bark, and branches. Does the tree lose leaves early, look discolored, or have an appearance of odd nodules? Does the bark have peculiar bumps? Does the overall visual appeal of the tree look compromised?
